Though the general car is standardized into a front-engined, rear-wheel drive internal combustion machine, there are still key improvement introduced including electric ignition, independent suspension, four-wheel brakes and the ability to switch between different cruising speeds.

Cars are also undergoing a facelift where traditional coach-style bodies are rapidly replaced by cheaper touring bodies. Although high-wheeler are still common, it will eventually be completely replaced by the Ford Model T.
